Ryan and Laura wedding day at the Fox and Goose – 11.2.23
My first wedding of the year consisted of an amazing couple, a 100k wedding car, glow sticks and a whole lot of dancing…..it doesn’t get much better!
I had met up with Ryan and Laura with a few months prior to the date of their wedding and they had told me the plans for their day at the Fox and Goose at Pudding Pie Hill. Everything sounded perfect and I was super excited to capture their big day .
On the morning of the wedding, I headed over to check in with Laura and her bridal party at a lovely little cottage in Derbyshire where they were starting to get ready. The girls were having a nice relaxed morning and the bubbly was flowing nicely as hair and makeup was in full swing.
Both bridesmaids and Lauras mum helped her into her fantastic dress and she looked absolutely stunning and ready for the arrival of Ryans best man, Callum, who was collecting her in a super flash Range Rover.
I then headed up to the venue to meet up with my second shooter and the groom, Ryan, who was all ready and looking very dapper indeed. I nipped into the ceremony room, which was decorated beautifully, and then back downstairs to Ryan and the wedding guests enjoying some last minute drinks before the ceremony began.
Everyone was then ushered upstairs whilst I managed to snap a few pictures of the bridal party before racing back inside to Ryan who was nervously waiting in the ceremony room for the arrival of his bride to be.
The music started and Laura was walked down the aisle by her proud grandad. Laura looked beautiful and Ryans smile said it all.
After a wonderful ceremony in the presence of their family and friends, we went outside for some rather chilly but fantastic pictures in the Chesterfield countryside. We then headed back inside to warm up and commence the celebrations with some great speeches, some sparkers and some awesome moves in the dance floor with all the guests partying into the night.
It was an absolutely amazing day and I am so glad I got to be a party of it. Thanks guys and I wish you both all the best…….Matt
