St Michaels Church, Holbrook / Morley Hayes
Saturday 22nd June 2019
Tim and Katie are a lovely couple and when I met them for a pre shoot at Morley Hayes a year before their wedding, it was clear to see that they were perfectly suited to one another.
I went to see Katie at her parents house in Holbrook and found her surrounded by her bridesmaids having her hair and makeup finished off. It was nice to see Emma, her hairdresser, again whose wedding I shot last November, so after a quick chat, I got to work. Katie and her bridal party were really calm and having a laugh which is every photographers dream.
Katie looked absolutely stunning and after the big reveal to her dad – Robin – I left the house and walked across the road to St Micheal’s church where I met a slightly nervous Tim. The church looked amazing and as the ceremony began, I watched Tim turn to see Katie as she was walked down the aisle towards him, it was just beautiful and it’s one of my favourite parts of a wedding.
After the ceremony, we were fortunate enough to get a confetti shot in the church grounds and then we headed off to Morley Hayes to capture the rest of the day.
Beautiful weather helped us get some great group shots before heading inside the venue for the wedding breakfast and some quality speeches (Tim – your best mans speech was priceless).
It was a great reception filled with lots of love and laughter.
Guys, it was a wonderful day and a real pleasure to be part of. I wish you both all the best…… Matt
