Broadway Baptist Church, Derby // Swancar Farm

I met Shiru and Aimee at Chatsworth House at the end of the 2019 to discuss their upcoming wedding. What amazed me was the planning and detail that had gone into their big day and how great everything sounded.  It’s fair to say, I was looking forward to it!

Wedding Day

I met up with Aimee on the day of the wedding as she was having her hair and make up done. Throughout the entire morning of wedding prep, she remained the life and soul of the party – dancing at every opportunity and she was an absolute joy to be around . She helped me capture some great moments.

We then headed off to the church where I met up with Shiru and watched the special moment as he saw Aimee for the first time. They had decided to meet up prior to the ceremony and then walk down the aisle together. It was one of their many twists on a traditional wedding and I loved them all.

The ceremony was lovely, with readings and live music from their friends and family and then the happy couple dancing back down the aisle to ‘Lets get ready to rumble’ . . class! Some awesome Indian finger food was laid out in the Church for the guests which gave us a quick chance to get some more pictures of the newlyweds and their family.

The wedding party then made their way over to the stunning venue Swancar Farm where the fun continued. Aimee had a quick nap (absolute bride goals) and changed into dress number 2 before it was time for more amazing food followed by some brilliant speeches and a lot of laughs. The party went late into the evening with the help of the awesome band The Burgundys keeping the dance floor going.

A fantastic wedding that I won’t forget.. Thank you for letting me be part of it and I wish you all the best……… Matt
