The White Hart, Moorwood Moor, Derbyshire
James and Amy’s idea of a small and intimate wedding day surrounded by close family and friends sounded perfect and with the added bonus of getting married in the orangery at the White Hart, near Chesterfield, it was a definite thumbs up from me.
On the morning of the wedding, I met a very chilled Amy in her room as she was having her makeup and hair finished off – her smile said it all and I knew it was going to be a good day.
Amy was helped into her dress by her mum and then a big reveal to her dad was amazing. I also managed to catch some special moments between Amy and her son and daughter – I absolutely love taking these sort of photos that I think people will treasure forever.
I then made my way into the orangery which had been decorated beautifully and there were even some small touches by James himself from his allotment. Here I captured some great candid pictures of James and his son as they waited for Amy to come down the aisle.
The ceremony was perfect and it was then time for a few shots outside in the sunshine before heading back in for wedding breakfast and speeches.
It was an amazing day for a fantastic little family and I enjoyed every moment. Thank you for letting me be part of it and I wish you both all the best….Matt
