Hazel Gap Wedding Venue
At last, it was time for the first wedding of the season and I knew that Mark and Liannes was going to be a great one. I felt a big mixture of nerves and excitement on the morning of the wedding – the nerves probably not helped by the fact that Liannes dad used to be my boss!
Anyway, good nerves mean great photos in my opinion and it was time to get cracking with the big day.
I met Lianne at her parents house where the bridal party were getting ready.
It’s always lovely to see the brides on the morning of the wedding and see the mixture of emotions that come with getting ready for one of the biggest days of her life.
Lianne was ready and can I just say, her dress was amazing and she looked absolutely stunning!
I had a quick look through the pictures I’d taken so far that morning and they were looking ace plus I’d even had the opportunity to try out my new camera which was a double bonus.
I finished up at the house as the Rolls Royces arrived and made my way to Hazel Gap Barn which is a fantastic venue, it has a really cosy feel yet it’s also very elegant and stylish.
The groom and his groomsmen were all looking very dapper in their suits and there were definitely some nerves from this side of the bridal party.
It was a beautiful ceremony and then the guests got to head outside to throw some confetti and enjoy the crazily, warm March sunshine (yes, really).
It was then onto the Wedding Breakfast and time for the speeches, Most of the weddings I go to usually toast with Champagne or Prosecco – maybe another bit of fizz – however Mark and Lianne were not messing around when all the guests got shots to celebrate, that’s how you get a party started. The party went on well into the night and a brilliant time was had by all.
I can safely say this was one awesome wedding and an absolute pleasure to be part of. Thank you guys and I wish you both all the best…. Enjoy Canada
