Inkersall Grange Farm, Nottinghamshire

Thursday 29th August 2019

My brief was… ‘chilled and relaxed – we’d like you to capture our day as it unfolds and for the pictures to reflect the fun we’ll have.” Well guys, I hope I’ve not let you down!

Wedding Morning

I arrived at Claire sisters house to find all the bridal party chilling and having their hair finished off in the kitchen by  and Claires sister Sam finishing off the makeup in the lounge.

Claire was the ideal bride – super bubbly but chilled out too –  it was a great atmosphere at the house.

I grabbed Claires wedding dress and shoes and quickly headed out into the garden in the late summer sun to take some pics and then back inside to capture the girls finishing getting ready.

It was then time for Claire to come down the stairs in her dress to her waiting bridal party – their reactions said it all – she looked beautiful.

The bridal party then headed to the church and they were travelling in style with….party buses! What a way to travel – a party before the wedding has even started!

I arrived at the church to find it full of guests and Dave and his best man were stood at the front – we had a quick catch up then it was time for the brides big entrance.

I didn’t know if Dave was going to hold his nerve and keep looking forwards or have a cheeky peek as Claire and the bridesmaids approached him, but his head spun and his eyes lit up as he saw Claire – moments like that are my absolute favourite.

The ceremony was lovely and the sun shone through the windows as the happy couple exchanged vows.

We managed to catch a few shots as the newly weds walked back down the aisle towards us and then it was outside for possibly the longest confetti shot I have ever witnessed.

Venue

If you have never been to a Tipi wedding venue you are missing out because Inkersall Grange looked incredible . The decoration and lay out was stunning! Me and Giles grabbed a few shots around the venue before we heard the music of the party buses arriving in the distance.

Some great speeches and full on craziness with the undercover waiters brought everyone to their feet and the atmosphere was electric. It was a great gig guys.

A thoroughly brilliant wedding with two absolutely lovely people. Thank you for letting me be part of your big day.

I wish you both all the best…….. Matt
